What is an ECN Account?
ECN stands for Electronic Communication Network. This is ultimately the best way to connect a retail trader directly to liquidity providers, such as Banks and Prime Brokers, for the best execution rates.
The connection is established using sophisticated technology setup called FIX Protocol (Financial Information Exchange Protocol) between Our Brokerage Desk; to obtain liquidity from liquidity providers and make it available for our traders, and providers – who receive clients’ orders for execution.
The ECN automatically matches and executes the orders requested, which are filled at the best available price.
